Child Privacy Policy
Introduction
Hello – we are Techbooq Limited (we, our, or us), the business who are letting you use our English language learning platform (English Wagon).
English Wagon is designed for children to learn how to speak the English language.
The law says we need to tell you about how we use your information before we collect it, which is why children should make sure they read and understand this document before they use English Wagon. This document is called a privacy policy.
This is a much shorter version of our main privacy policy. This children’s privacy policy is designed to be read by children and is written in plain and simple language.
A copy of our longer Privacy Policy for adults can be found here. We have carefully thought about who our youngest users are and addressed this policy to their specific age range.
There is a lot of further information which is not in this simplified privacy policy just because we think it may be too hard for our youngest users to understand – the additional information is very important and should be explained to children by their parents or guardians by them reading our main Privacy Policy.
The key point for you to understand is that the law tells us to keep your information very safe – this includes all of the information which you give us when you use English Wagon.
This document explains the most important information you need to know about how we look after your information. If there is anything that you don’t understand in this policy, please ask an adult to go through it with you.
WHO ARE WE AND HOW WE LOOK AFTER YOUR INFORMATION?
Techbooq Limited is responsible for your “personal data”.
But what is personal data exactly? Personal data means any information that can be used to identify someone, such as a name, email address, home address, telephone number.
We are the “data controller” which means that we are the company who in charge of the personal information which we collect from you (and how we use it) when you use English Wagon.
How to contact us
If you want to ask us any questions, you can do so by contacting us in the following ways:

If you use English Wagon outside of the UK, you can complain to the legal organisation who is in charge of data protection in that country.
Changes to this policy
Sometimes we might need to change our privacy policy, for example if we need to tell you something new about how we wish to use your information. If we do change it, we will email you to tell you about this.
We will obtain some information about you from your parents when you register for you to join English Wagon and some information from you when you upload it yourself when using English Wagon.
We expect you may give us some personal information about yourself when you use English Wagon, in which case we will take good care of it. Please see our main Privacy Policy and ask your parents to explain the full details about the information we collect.
Other than this, we collect some other technical information about how students use English Wagon but this is all kept anonymised, which means that neither we nor anyone else can link that data to you in any way. We collect this information automatically, both to make English Wagon more interesting and useful and for us to understand how English Wagon is doing and if it is successful in achieving its aims to help further student learning. For more information, please see our general Privacy Policy and ask your parents or guardians to explain the relevant section to you.
There are some types of data we need to be extra careful with, so we need to mention this here. We never collect “special category” information about you. This means we don’t collect information about your sex, religion, health or ethnic origin – we don’t need this from you.

Where we let others use your personal data, we make sure they protect it in the same way that we do.
SENDING YOUR DATA TO OTHER COUNTRIES
